Corporate Partner Solicitor

SUMMARY

Responsible for all Corporate Partnership solicitation, retention, and management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Present and sell corporate partnerships to current and potential corporate partners.
  2. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from contacts and networking activity.
  4. Identify prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  5. Prepare proposals and partnership agreements
  6. Develop and maintain partnership materials and current product knowledge.
  7. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  8. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  9. Manage partnerships through quality checks and other follow-up.
  10. Identify and resolve partner concerns.
  11. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  12. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to Rep board, staff and development committee.
  13. Coordinate company resources to accomplish the work required to close partnerships.
  14. Develop and implement special sales activities to increase sales.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Follow-up for collection of payment.
  2. Coordinate schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.
  3. Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  2. Ability to persuade and influence others.
  3. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  4. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
  7. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  8. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license.
  9. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment, however, most work will be done via telecommute. The Rep offices will be available for printing and other office supply needs. Work requires significant local travel.
